Welcome to Askelo! The terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to Askelo. Askelo operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services in order to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping experience (the "Services"). Askelo is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.
The below terms and conditions, together with any policies referenced herein (these "Terms of Service" or "Terms") describe your rights and responsibilities when you use the Services.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully, as they include important information about your legal rights and cover areas such as warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability.
By visiting, interacting with or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service or Privacy Policy, you should not use or access our Services.

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use the Services on devices you own, purchase or manage.
Our products are intended for use by adults aged 18 and older. Askelo products should not be used by minors without direct adult supervision and prior consultation with a healthcare provider.
To use the Services, including accessing or browsing our online stores or purchasing any of the products or services we offer, you may be asked to provide certain information, such as your email address, billing, payment, and shipping information. You represent and warrant that all the information you provide in our stores is correct, current and complete and that you have all rights necessary to provide this information.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all of your account activity. You may not transfer, sell, assign, or license your account to any other person.
SECTION 2 – OUR PRODUCTS
We have made every effort to provide an accurate representation of our products and services in our online stores. However, slight variations in color or appearance may occur due to device type, settings, and configuration.
All descriptions of products are subject to change at any time without notice at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to discontinue any product and to limit quantities on a case-by-case basis.
SECTION 3 – ORDERS
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. Askelo reserves the right to accept or decline your order for any reason. Your order is not accepted until Askelo confirms acceptance and payment is processed.
If we do not accept, modify, or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you using the contact details provided at checkout.
Purchases are subject to our Refund Policy outlined in Section 6.
You represent that purchases are for personal or household use only.
SECTION 4 – PRICES AND BILLING
Prices, discounts, and promotions are subject to change without notice. Prices exclude taxes, shipping, handling, customs, and import charges unless stated otherwise.
You agree to provide accurate, complete purchase and payment information and authorize charges incurred at posted prices, including applicable taxes and fees.
SECTION 5 – SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Delivery times are estimates only. Askelo is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, or events beyond our control. Risk of loss passes to you upon transfer to the carrier.
SECTION 6 – REFUND POLICY
We offer a 90-day money-back guarantee. If the Askelo isn't right for you, contact us within 90 days of delivery for a full refund, even if you've used it. We want you to actually try it.
There is no restocking fee, and you do not have to give us a reason. We just ask that all parts come back, meaning the gel separator and the fabric sleeve, and that you cover the return shipping cost. Original shipping costs are not refunded. If you ordered a multi-pack, return the whole order for a full refund, or return any unopened packs for a partial refund on those.
Please inspect your order when it arrives. If anything is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us right away at care@getaskelo.com. We will replace it or refund it, and you will not pay return shipping on an item that arrived faulty.
Once we receive your return, we'll inspect it and notify you. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank may take a few days longer to post it. If more than 15 business days have passed since we told you your refund was approved and it still hasn't arrived, please contact us at care@getaskelo.com.
If your order is shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason. Contact us at care@getaskelo.com to get started.
Subscriptions and pre-orders, if offered, are covered by our Purchase Options Cancellation Policy.
SECTION 7 – MEDICAL DISCLAIMER AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK
Askelo products are designed for general foot comfort and wellness purposes only. They are not medical devices, they have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and they are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
Askelo is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for surgery. It does not reduce the size of a bunion. Any change in toe position is gradual, is measured over months rather than days, and varies between individuals.
Always consult your doctor, podiatrist, or another qualified healthcare provider before use. Do not use this product without medical advice if any of the following apply to you:
- diabetes, peripheral neuropathy, or any condition that reduces sensation in the feet
- peripheral arterial disease, poor circulation, or a history of blood clots
- open wounds, ulcers, blisters, or active infection anywhere on the foot
- recent foot, toe, or ankle surgery, or a fracture that has not fully healed
- rheumatoid arthritis, gout, or another inflammatory joint condition affecting the foot
- a rigid or fused big toe joint that does not move when pressed gently toward straight
- a known allergy or sensitivity to silicone or elastic fabric
Do not use this product if you have been advised against toe alignment or toe spacing devices by a medical professional.
Begin with short wear sessions and increase gradually. Stop using the product immediately and consult a healthcare professional if you experience pain, numbness, tingling, a change of colour in the toes, skin breakdown, blistering, swelling, or any other unusual symptom during or after use.
You acknowledge that you are using Askelo products voluntarily and at your own risk. You accept full responsibility for determining whether this product is appropriate for your individual health circumstances. Askelo is not liable for any injury, aggravation of existing conditions, or adverse effects resulting from use or misuse of its products.

SECTION 8 – PROPER USE
Askelo products must be used in accordance with the instructions provided. Askelo is not responsible for injury or damage resulting from improper use, modification, or failure to follow usage guidelines. Do not exceed the recommended wear time or frequency set out in the product instructions included with your order, and do not wear the product over broken or irritated skin.
SECTION 9 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All Services content is owned by Askelo, its affiliates, or licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms permit personal, non-commercial use only. Unauthorized use may violate intellectual property laws.
Askelo names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Askelo or its licensors. Shopify trademarks remain the property of Shopify.
SECTION 10 – OPTIONAL TOOLS
Third-party tools are provided "as is" without warranties. Use is at your own risk.
SECTION 11 – THIRD-PARTY LINKS
We are not responsible for third-party content or websites accessed through the Services.
SECTION 12 – RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY
Askelo is powered by Shopify, but all purchases are made directly with Askelo. Shopify bears no responsibility for transactions between you and Askelo. You expressly release Shopify from related claims.
SECTION 13 – PRIVACY POLICY
All personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy and Shopify's Privacy Policy. Information may be processed in other countries as required to provide the Services.
SECTION 14 – FEEDBACK
You grant Askelo a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use submitted Feedback. We are under no obligation to compensate or respond.
SECTION 15 – ERRORS, INACCURACIES AND OMISSIONS
We reserve the right to correct errors and cancel orders at any time without prior notice.
SECTION 16 – PROHIBITED USES
You may not use the Services for unlawful, abusive, misleading, or harmful activities. Violations may result in suspension or termination.

We may terminate access at any time. Obligations incurred prior to termination remain enforceable.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Askelo, its owners, officers, employees, affiliates, partners, and suppliers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to physical injury, aggravation of pre-existing conditions, loss of income, pain and suffering, or medical expenses arising from the use or inability to use our products or services.
In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.
SECTION 20 – INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Askelo, Shopify, and their affiliates against claims arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.
SECTION 21 – SEVERABILITY
Invalid provisions will be severed without affecting enforceability of remaining Terms.
SECTION 22 – WAIVER; ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Askelo.
SECTION 23 – ASSIGNMENT
You may not assign these Terms without consent. Askelo may assign freely.

These Terms are governed by the laws and courts of the jurisdiction where Askelo is headquartered.
